Pioneer Press’ Nick Ferraro reports: “A jury on Thursday acquitted a man of murder and all other charges in the killing of his mother, who was caught in the crossfire as he and her ex-boyfriend exchanged more than three dozen shots in an Apple Valley neighborhood nearly three years ago.”

Mary Murphy at the Duluth News Tribune reports: “The Minnesota House Public Safety Committee advanced a bill Wednesday that would require local law enforcement to report an individual arrested for a violent offense to ICE and to cooperate in data sharing with federal immigration authorities.”
